The first engine will be a high powered engine with a 2.4L MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control system) technology. The power generated by the engine will be 185 horsepower and the torque produced due to the activity of the engine will be 178 pounds per feet. The second power train of actually the hybrid, which will combine a 2.0L engine with 154 horsepower and the torque of about 140 pounds per feet, while the additional power will be provided with the electric motor that can generate required 51 horsepower. The model will have both manual and automatic transmissions. It can only be estimated that the model will have 6-speed automatic and 5-speed manual transmissions.

It would be quite early to say anything about the release date of the model. But most of the sources have confirmed that the 2017 Mitsubishi L200 will be available for purchase in the year 2016. The starting price of the model will be $23,000 but it can go higher with the other variants as well. Fully loaded version of the model will cost around $35,000.
