“expected that new Escalade EXT can provide a mileage of 17 mpg” if this is true consider this DOA!
I will buy it even if it gets 14 mpg like my current EXT. If you can afford to buy it and it fits your life style who cares about a few mpg!
I been waiting to trade my 2012 in !! LOve it I also owed a 2010.
I own a 2007 Cadillac Escalade EXT and I love it. The only thing that I hope GM does is to add rear LED Cadillac style tail lights. I plan to go and test drive the 2018 once it is at the dealer. For those people who complain about the mpg, this only means that you can’t afford to own a Cadillac Escalade. Maybe you should give up traveling in style and buy a Honda, Toyota or Kia.
LOL. Well said.
Yes!! GM needs to bring this back to market along with the Avalanche. I own a 2009 Avalanche LTZ and have been very happy with it. It’s the most versatile vehicle I have ever owned. Might consider the Cadillac next time around.
GM will not bring back the Avalanche. Studies showed that too many people who were on the edge of purchasing a Cadillac EXT, instead chose an Avalanche because of the similar look but cheaper price. I personally feel into this catagory. I purchased an Avalanche and loved it. Now, without the choice, I am looking foreword to the new Cadillac EXT, and will gladly pay the higher price.
Make it a stick shift in the floor automatic and I will buy it.
Automatic in the floor
I have a 2007 EXT and have been looking for something that is as appealing in style and luxury and performance and just can’t find an equivalent. I am so excited I won’t have to settle. Bring it on back so I can get it on order. Just make sure the turning radius remains as good as the 2007 model.
i drive a 2007 EXT i love it , and when its done ill buy another one , who cares about gas mileage ? comfort baby, comfort.

Concur with all about the gas mileage. . . . .”who cares”. If you can afford the vehicle you should be able to gas it up. I owned the 2012 and loved it and can’t wait for the 2018. I will test drive one the moment they come out. Looking forward to the “Return of the Mac”.
When this EXT comes out at dealership location? Im dying to know when can I see it!? It is my dream vehicle for years.

I drive the last EXT 2013 sold in Canada and my dad drives the same 2013 .i also drove a 2011 before that and my dad had a 2010 ,he also drove a 2006 before that . So I will buy the first two that are sent to Canada and it’s about time someone at GM relieves that this is the best truck ever sold and the only issue I have with the truck is the brake system sucks . I hope they addressed it with the new model and thank god the New escalade pickup is finally coming back to the market
I have been waiting for this truck to made a comeback I had both one of the first Cadillac escalade Ext Truck in 2001 . It is a 2002 I have taking of this truck very well it only have 168,000 .
I have taking care of this truck very well
Cadillac EXT truck should be in the showrooms this year. I’ve owned or leased pick up trucks all of my life and my 2013 EXT has been the best by far – GM can not drop the ball and allow the foreign truck makers to put luxury vehicles above ours. And, while you’re at it, GM…bring back the El Dorado!
