The 2018 Volkswagen Amarok V6 Diesel offers really amazing options under the hood. However, by using this so-called BiTDI, the truck is still pretty sluggish, as it needs 11 seconds to reach 60 mph.

On the other hand, there is an all-new 3.0-liter V-6 turbodiesel that makes things right. The standard tune delivers around 161 horsepower and uses a manual gearbox only. However, the topping version is capable of producing a whopping output of 220 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. This mill is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with a shifter. You can choose between standard RWD and optional 4Motion AWD, but no matter which one you choose, you will get a truck that chases up to 120 mph, plus, a 0-60 sprint is reduced in just 7.9 seconds.
