Even the fog lights are now Led based.

The cabin of the new TRD Pro truck is very stylish and the dashboard is sleek looking. The seats are big and the support is good enough. The TRD Pro visual design continues inside. The box is just 5 feet long in this trim. It is sold in 2 cab styles and interior storage options are quite decent.


The 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is run by a 3.5-liter V-6 engine and that is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission gearbox. The manual gearbox will also be offered as an option. Since this truck is made for off-road fun it arrives with improved off-road suspension. The engine output is 278 HP. Ride quality is pretty good and tackling rough roads will not be difficult. However, on city roads and highways- the ride may seem a tad stiff. Towing capacity is 6400 pounds- just like with the present model.

There are enough safety features in the 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro and you get enough tech to evade collisions. The list includes blind-spot monitoring, forward-collision warning, rear parking sensors, automated emergency braking, TPMS, automatic high-beams, adaptive cruise control and traction control. There are several airbags too.

The Truck also gets laden with the new version of Toyota’s EnTune infotainment system. A seven-inch touch screen is there and it is smooth for usage. The graphics are better than the previous version and speed has also improved. However, it is still a bit behind what you find in rivals from Ford and Honda. A deck-mounted power outlet is there. The features include wireless smartphone charger, dual-zone automatic climate control, and auto-dimming rearview mirror. Optionally, the new Tacoma TRD Pro can be equipped with moonroof and JBL premium audio system.

Price and Release Date

The 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is already available and it is coming with the price tag of $43,500. The price is slightly high but it was expected since this model arrives with many interesting features, especially for the off-road challenges. Its engine is also powerful enough and you get new safety features too. The customization options come like icing on a cake.
